Next to their Hoof-Tite Max-Mix (220ml) glue, Hoof-Tite introduces a patented easy on/easy off system. Here, the hoof trimmer can easily push off the top and snap on the Hoof-Tite Max-Mix Mixing Tips (see pictures above).
The new system allows the user to fast change the Hoof-Tite Max-Mix Mixing Tips in seconds, all without unnecessary screwing, waste-free and free of messes. Moreover, the replaceable plug ensures no more cutting open cartridges. Do not waste material by purging, just attach the tip and go!
The Hoof-Tite Max-Mix Mixing Tips are used with the Hoof-Tite Max-Mix glue (220ml), in a ratio of 8-10 mixing tips to 1 adhesive cartridge which includes the accessories for around 8-10 applications (depending on the size of the hoof and the operator’s skill). Ratio 8-10:1.

Instructions for use
First, place the 220ml cartridge into the Hoof-Tite Applicator Gun or similar 200/220ml gun. Now, remove the fastener on the cartridge and connect the patented Hoof Tite Mixing Tip. Equalize the cartridge by pointing the cartridge straight up; then squeeze the handle to remove any air bubbles.
Now, eject a small amount of glue. This must be done so that the two components mix as optimally as possible. Now, apply a bead of the Hoof-Tite Max-Mix onto the block. Place the block quickly onto the pre-prepared, clean and dry, healthy claw. A heat gun can be used to dry the claw.
After around 30 seconds, the glue will have set, and after around 2-3 minutes, the claw can weight-bear again. For the greatest result, the claw must be clean and dry. Leave the mixing tip in place until the next use. Replace with a new mixing tip before each new exercising.
A well-prepared claw contributes to a good and stable adhesion of the adhesive. The claw can also be roughened to increase the adhesive power. The used mixing tip may remain on the cartridge after use. The glue in the mixing tip cures and seals the cartridge. For the next application, a new mixing tip must be used. When pressing the block against the claw, do not work with too much pressure, as the adhesive layer will otherwise become too thin and no optimal adhesive bond can be created.
